4/29/30 - First long run outside. Ugh, I can tell I've been running on a treadmill all winter because my legs are a lot more tired than they normally are. Run along the river and through the U was fantastic though. Distance 10.25
4/30/13- Ran 4.25 & lift.
5/1/13 - HAPPY 3 Year Anniversary to Jess & me!!! We are both super busy today but got each other cards (awww) and are having dinner out tomorrow. Ran 10.25 on the treadmill at 6:30am cause work is SUPER busy.
5/2/13 - Ran 4.25 & lift. Jess and I went out for dinner at Stella's Fish Cafe. She's been dying for some crab and we were not disappointed. We split the fresh crab bucket (Hot Tub) and lobster pasta. Delicious!
5/3/13 - IRON MAN 3 Day!! Got to wear my sweet arch reactor shirt today. Went in early and ran, could only make it 8.5 though, super tired.
Iron Man 3 viewing with Derek, AJ, Reed, and Gjersvik! Loved it! Dealt with the fallout of The Avengers, (which makes the whole thing feel more like a real world), Tony Stark as Iron Man rather than the armor being Iron Man, and Don Cheadle, Guy Pierce, and Gwyneth Paltrow were all fantastic!
5/4/13 - Jess and I had our all day baby class today (BABY!) which went well. We learned some interesting things:
- no lotion on baby
- no mirror or sun shade in back seat with baby
- we need a pediatrician clinic and doc picked out for baby, but don't need to necessarily contact them before. The hospital will do that after the baby is born.
- most products are marked "baby" therefore marked up in price and we don't need it: like baby shampoo and soap. We can use Dove on the baby and its just fine. Burts Bees, Johnson and Johnson? not needed and too expensive
- doing 2 situps with baby twice daily to gain neck strength and head control. C'mon baby!! Do those situps!
- bathing baby only every 3 days
- What to expect in the hospital and not have visitors if we can help it.
- let the nurses do their job and get rest in the hospital when we can and abide by the visiting hours
- that more than 60% of pregnancies go OVER the due date and you should in the beginning add 10 days to your due date, just in case
- 37 weeks is not considered full term: 40 is. Jess = less than thrilled. Get outta there baby!!
Afterwards I ran 4.8 while the pizza crust rose and then we had Pizza and Vampires night, yay!!
Week total 48.3!
Isn't running outside way better?! :)
ReplyDeleteSo excited for you two + baby!
