Week 24

1/20/13 - Hit the gym cause the treadmill's got a busted walking platform at home, have a tech scheduled to come out for that.  Ran 4.15 + lift

1/21/13 - The high temp today is -4!  When I biked in (yes I biked in) the wind chill was -32.  That's 64 degrees to get to freezing!!  I wore extra socks, extra pants, and my down coat, which all kept me warm but even with my super thick ski gloves I had to start flexing my fingers to keep them from going numb after 1/4 of a mile!  Ran 10.0 on the treadmill.

1/22/13 - Ran 4.15 + lift

1/23/13 - Been listening to Europe radio on Pandora.  It's so completely random!  I'm getting Stevie Wonder, GNR, the BeeGee's, and fricken Linkin Park!  Also, apparently I like 70's pop/disco a lot more than I thought I did.  Interestingly I'm hearing a lot of songs I know, but didn't realize who they were by.  Like Superstition is by Stevie Wonder. Makes sense, but I couldn't have told you that. Europe also has a song called Superstition.  Crazy!

Ran 10 while watching Being Human North American version.  Long treadmill runs are great for me to watch shows that I wouldn't otherwise take the time to.

1/24/13 - Ok, freaky.  Pretty much every tree in Loring Park and down to Nicollet was FULL of crows this morning.  So loud I could hear them from 3 blocks away.  I kept thinking "what the hell is that?  Oh, a super giant murder of crows, that's comforting."
Ran 4.2 + lift

1/25/13 - Jess is off to Grace Potter & the Nocturnals (lucky) with some lady friends. Ran 10.0

1/26/13 - Jess and I hit the gym before heading out to see the Irish trio band Heritage.
Ran 6.5 to get 49 for the week!  Average of 7 per day!

  2. Your fingers need one of those heat packets you can put in gloves or boots to give extra warmth. You can find them at a good sporting goods store. Keep up the good work my son, my son.
